Environmentally integrated project followed passive design principles to hug existing contours &preserve existing water-courses on site. Variety of spaces and forms illustrated to inspire innovative thinking regarding sustainable construction. Highly diverse campus showcases multitude of alternative and conventional construction technologies, services and materials where design and construction of research centre became research project in itself. Internationally known project frequently visited by tourists and students coming to Windhoek.
